Nominated for the Stage Director and Choreographer Society’s Joe A. Callaway Award for Direction of Hold These Truths produced by New York‘s Epic Theatre Ensemble (also presented at ACT, Seattle, Honolulu Theatre for Youth, the SoloNova Festival).
She has workshopped, developed and directed more than 100 new plays and musicals with many award-winning writers.

Lisa has taught and directed at many theatre programs including NYU’s Graduate Acting Program, Yale School of Drama, The Juilliard School, Chautauqua Theater Company, Einhorn School of Performing Arts at Primary Stages (ESPA). She is a graduate of NYU’s Graduate Acting Program and Director’s Lab, a Usual Suspect with New York Theater Workshop, Artistic Affiliate with New Georges, alum of the Drama League and Women’s Project Director’s Lab, and serves as co-President of the League of Professional Theatre Women. Lisa was Director of Global Exchange at the Lark Play Development Center, providing expanded opportunities for playwrights around the world.
