Ticket Exchanges

Ticket exchange has never been easier! To exchange your tickets, call our Box Office at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled performance. Have your tickets in hand when you call as we may need your patron ID number. The Box Office will make your new reservation and hold your tickets to be picked up at Will Call. Or if your exchange is made at least 7 days prior to your new performance, we'll mail them to you. That's it! There's no longer a need to return your old tickets or call 48 hours in advance.
Please note that with this new simplified exchange policy, we will no longer have a "Walk In" line. Tickets cannot be exchanged after the originally scheduled performance has passed.
Tickets can only be exchanged for another performance in the same production run and may not be used for a different production later in the season.
Seating for ticket exchanges is based on availability. We cannot guarantee equivalent seating in an exchange.
Patrons who exchange for higher priced performances will be charged the difference in the face value of each ticket. Exchanges to lower priced performances do not result in refunds.

Ticket Donations & FlexTix

Ticket Donation Policy

If you are unable to use your tickets you may donate them back to the theatre for resale. If your tickets are resold, the cost of the ticket can be claimed as a tax deductible gift to PlayMakers. The box office will notify you with a gift letter after the production has ended. Tickets must be donated 24 hours before the scheduled performance.

FlexTix

How to use your FlexTix: If you order a FlexTix season tickets package, you will receive one voucher per production. Please note that vouchers for one show cannot be transferred to another show.

To redeem your Vouchers:

Call 919.962.7529, email us at prcboxoffice@unc.edu or stop by the Box Office on the first floor of the Center for Dramatic Art.
Identify yourself as a FlexTix Season Ticket-holder by giving the patron number printed on your vouchers or presenting your vouchers at the Box Office.
FlexTix season ticket-holders may make reservations for any performance during the run; if you want to attend the Opening Night performance, however, there will be a surcharge added to cover the price difference between your voucher and a gala opening night ticket.
Please reserve your seats early, as some performances will sell out.
