Thank you for your interest in ushering for PlayMakers Repertory Company. Ushers provide a valuable service and we appreciate your time and effort.

In order to make the ushering experience as beneficial and efficient as possible we have developed several policies. Please review the information below before you sign up to usher.

Please:

Arrive 1 (ONE) hour before the performance time. Please be prompt and ready to usher.

Wear black pants or skirt and a white top.

Do not sign-up to usher if there are no available spots. We only have room for 6 (SIX) usher per night.

Do not show up without signing up to usher.

You may sign up to usher by calling the Box Office at 919-962-7529, or by stopping by the theatre and signing up in the usher book in the lobby.

Call to cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Because we rely on ushers for each performance it is vital that we know how many we have scheduled for each performance. Please don’t be a no-show. Call the Box Office (919-962-7529) to let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Remember that we may need you to tear tickets, distribute programs or assist patrons to their seats. We cannot guarantee that you will always have your first choice of duties, but we will try our best to meet your requests.
