This holiday season, PlayMakers Repertory Company will present a classic Dickens tale of a good and evil and of changing one’s life path. No, not that one. The Chapel Hill actors will present the epic tale of “The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby,” with 25 actors playing more than 150 characters. The play is six and a half hours long and shown in two parts on different nights. And yet, the play is still an adapted and abridged version of Charles Dickens’ massive novel.
