PlayMakers: Love Alone, Red, In the Next Room. Since 2005, Vivienne has been Artistic Director of Chautauqua Theater Company and Conservatory, where she has directed the world premiere of Molly Smith Metzler's The May Queen, The Romeo & Juliet Project, Amadeus, Much Ado About Nothing, Measure for Measure, A Soldier's Tale, The Skin of Our Teeth, and workshops of new plays. She has directed for The Juilliard School (visiting faculty member), Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and Trinity Repertory Company. As an actress, she has worked extensively on and Off-Broadway, in film and television and at many of the country's most celebrated theatres. She performed with Maggie Smith in the London revival of Edward Albee's The Lady from Dubuque and received an OBIE Award for her performance in Lee Blessing's Going to St. Ives. Vivienne is a graduate of Brown University and NYU's Graduate Acting Program and served as chair of the theatre panel for the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (YoungArts).
