AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENTS

PLAYMAKERS AUDITIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL ACTORS

CHAPEL HILL (March 3, 2010) PlayMakers Repertory Company’s auditions for its 2010-2011 theatre season will be held April 7th and 8th, 2010.  Auditions will be conducted by Jeffrey Meanza, PRC’s Director of Education and Outreach.

The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, April 7: 
12:00 – 5:00pm:  Scheduled auditions.
5:00 – 7:00pm:    Unscheduled open call.
**Accompanist provided.  Actors wishing to be considered for BIG RIVER should prepare 16 bars of their choice and bring sheet music.

Thursday, April 8:  
12:00 – 7:00pm:  Scheduled auditions. 

Auditions are held at the Center for Dramatic Art on the campus of UNC-CH.  Walk-ins are welcome as time permits, but appointments are strongly suggested.

PlayMakers is eager to identify a local pool of trained, professional actors available for casting in paid positions during its seasons.  Actors who have auditioned in the past and continue to be interested in working with the Company should also schedule appointments.
