Lives in her own world and operates by her own logic, which can make her behavior seem over the top or absurd to those on the outside; a kind of Gertrude; a loving and good mother in her own way; comfortable with movement.
Rabby, 40s – 50s, female-identifying, Black. Tedra’s friend, and Larry and Opal’s mother; semi-churchy–she attends regularly and worships devoutly when she’s there, but what happens outside of the church is her own business; a gossip, but not in a malicious way; a keen observer, she knows what’s going on with everyone around her, and has opinions about all of it; loves a good time; a kind of Polonius.
Rev/Pap, 45-50, Black, male-identifying. REV is Tedra’s dead ex-husband’s brother. Pig farmer and pit master. Electric. PAP is the Ghost of Juicy’s father. Was in prison for killing someone cause their breath stank, until he got shanked on the way to dinner.
