Jack Herrick
Composer/Musician
Jack has been a composer, lyricist, and performer with the Red Clay Ramblers for 25 years, touring North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Africa. He and the band have recorded and produced numerous studio albums, soundtracks, and movie scores, as well as appearing on shows ranging from A Prairie Home Companion to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
As a composer and lyricist Jack has co-created musicals [Kudzu, Ear Rings, Cool Spring, Tar Heel Voices, Glory Bound, Lonestar Love, Wilder, and A Childs Christmas in Wales], childrens musicals [Rip Van Winkle and the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Johnny and the Apple Tree, and Bah! Humbug! which received a 2006 Kevin Klein Award as best childrens show] Plays with music include Sam Shepards A Lie of the Mind, and Fool Moon, which received a 1999 Tony Award.
