Joseph has performed in theatres throughout the United States and abroad. He has appeared at the Guthrie, the Public Theatre/NYSF, the Alley, the Mark Taper Forum, the Ahmanson, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and many others, including eleven plays for PlayMakers from 1985-1988 while a member of the Professional Actor Training Program. He has performed overseas in Salzburg, Edinburgh, Paris, Berlin, Venice and Japan. Joseph has worked with many of the theatres foremost directors including Garland Wright, Anne Bogart, Jon Jory, Peter Sellars, Sir Peter Hall, JoAnne Akalaitis, Robert Woodruff and Michael Grief. TV and film appearances include: 24, Without a Trace, Crossing Jordan, NCIS, The Siege, JAG, Charmed and many others.
Joseph is the recipient of the NEA Millennium Grant awarded in 2000 to fifty of Americas finest artists and is the Producing Artistic Director of PlayMakers.
